Travis Landon Barker was born in Fontana, California, USA on November 14, 1975. The public knew him when he joined as a drummer of the band Blink-182.
In drumming Travis is not a novice. He first got a drum set when he was four years old. A year later, Travis began actively learning to play drums. Travis even took a trumpet course.
After graduating from high school, Travis had a chance to play drums before joining Blink-182 to replace drummer Scott Raynor.
The disbandment of Blink-182 made Travis then busied himself with several projects with other musicians. Travis also established a Famous Stars and Straps clothing company in 1999 and LaSalle Records in 2004. Travis also opened a restaurant called Wahoo's Fish Taco in California.
